A MORNING TO SLOW DOWN, RECONNECT AND say goodbye to summer
Join me for a peaceful morning by the sea as we mark the end of summer and the beginning of a new season.
We'll gather before sunrise for a guided coastal walk around Hengistbury Head, taking time to slow down, breathe deeply and appreciate the beauty of the coastline as the day begins.
Along the way, we'll weave in simple mindfulness practices, moments of meditation and opportunities to connect more deeply with the natural world, we'll use the changing landscape, sounds of the sea and open skies as an invitation to become more present and grounded.
We'll pause for a warming cup of herbal tea and a light breakfast snack before continuing to our private sauna session.
To finish our morning we’ll enjoy an exclusive hour at the new Slomo woodfired sauna at Hengistbury Head, overlooking Christchurch Harbour. You’ll move between the heat, fresh air and cold plunge, nestled between the reed beds.
A grounded and intimate way to savour the final days of summer and welcome the slower season ahead.

What to Bring
Comfortable layers for walking, swimwear / towel / something to sit on for the sauna, water and suitable footwear. You may also want to bring something warm to put on after your sauna.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A morning designed as an opportunity for you to step away from the usual pace of everyday life and spend time immersed in the beautiful, ancient landscape of Hengistbury Head.
Through walking, mindfulness, time in nature and the restorative contrast of sauna and cold water, we'll create space to slow down and reconnect as summer draws to a close.
Everything is optional, and you're encouraged to take the morning at your own pace.
LOCATION
Hengistbury Head, and Slomo Sauna
We'll meet at the Hiker cafe, at the entrance to Hengistbury Head before sunrise and explore the headland together on foot.
Please park in the car park by the cafe. We will then finish our morning at Slomo sauna, part of the Hengistbury Head Outdoor Centre, overlooking Christchurch Harbour.
